Floral displays in Manningtree have been attacked by vandals for the second weekend running.
A flower-filled boat created by youngsters at Highfields Primary School, in Laword, was upended along with several barrells in Station Road. Two cars were also damaged.
Manningtree town councillor Ken Scott, a member of the Floral Manningtree committee, said: "It's very disappointing and difficult to see what motivates them to do this."
The barrells and hanging baskets were only put in place at the beginning of the month , with the schoolchildren completing planting the boat days before the vandalism occurred.
Anyone who sees the flowers being attacked is being asked to ring the police immediately, and anyone who witnessed the recent attack should contact Mistley Police on 01206 392611
