The Reeman, Dansie, Howe and Son auction house, just off Headgate in Colchester, has a whole host of seafaring antiquities that are going under the hammer tomorrow.
The collection of valuables has come from a private museum, whose collector now wants them to find new homes.
According to a spokesperson from the auctioneers, items up for grabs include naval uniforms, medals, life buoys, a ship's anchor, telegraphs and launch lamps. The auction begins tomorrow at 10am.
