Hungry music fans attending the Proms this summer will be fed by chef James Buckley.
The 24-year old, of Grasmere, Canvey, has just started work at the Elgar Room - one of the two restaurants at the Royal Albert Hall, in London.
James, a former pupil at Cornelius Veymuden School in Dinant Avenue, Canvey, was delighted to have landed the plush job.
He said: "It is wonderful turning up for work every day at a place as prestigious as this."
James spent a two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship at the restaurant in the Lloyds of London building while at Butlers Wharf Chef School.
