A Stansted-based ground services company has joined forces with job centres across Essex to raise the profile of its fast-growing operation.
Groundstar has launched a series of open days in a bid to encourage people to consider a new career as a passenger check-in agent, baggage handler, aircraft dispatcher or manager.
The company currently provides 80 per cent of the ground handling business at Stansted, and employs more than 1,000 people.
It has already hosted a number of events at job centres across Essex, with more planned.
