Rayleigh and Kent Elms' championship campaigns are shaping up nicely as the Leigh & Westcliff LTA summer season reached the midway point.
The men's team from Watchfield Road have a commanding eight-point lead over Thorpe Bay at the top of Division One after only dropping three of the 30 sets they have played.
Kent Elms' ladies are in a stronger position as they have a nine-point margin over Westcliff Hard at the top of Division One.
Things are closer in The League Division One where Thorpe Bay are just one point ahead of Rayleigh and Kent Elms after the trio made a strong start to the season.
