Southchurch Park Wildlife Garden, designed to demonstrate which ornamental plants can be beneficial to wildlife to give people ideas for their own gardens will be getting a makeover.
A leaflet and signs explaining what is happening in the garden will be available soon.
Both projects have been funded by the Cory Environmental Trust.
Ann Holland, chairman of Cory Environmental Trust and Southend's executive councillor for environmental and public protection, said: "The projects may seem small but will greatly benefit the environment of Southend."
