Great Wakering certainly have something to yell about after hitting their best form in years.
Rebels pulled off their first-ever win over East London when they triumphed 86-74 in their South-Eastern League clash.
It was Rebel's fourth victory of the season, having already seen off Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich, and they currently stand second in the table behind Great Blakenham.
It is one of the club's best-ever spells since Rebels were formed back in 1972 --although they did capture the league title in 1981.
But the man who formed the club 31 years ago, general manager Den Winch, missed this latest success as he is recovering from recent illness.
Also absent was veteran rider Vic Duffy, who lost his voice for three days, but there was a boost when 65-year-old Tony Marsh returned to action after a two-year break and picked up 16 points.
Other Rebels scores: Rob Hughes 16, Richard Hughes 16, Edward Hammerton 14, Tom Hughes 14, Kevin Piper 10, Rhys Piper 2. All these totals include bonus points.
Duffy said: "We have an excellent team at Wakering now and it's so good that I'm firmly convinced we can win this title."
