Bookworms are in their element after the official opening of a £70,000 new library at Westwood Primary School in Beresford Close, Hadleigh.
Representatives from firms which helped with the cost were among more than 50 people who watched Deputy Mayor Wendy Goodwin officially open the facility.

Delighted head teacher John Oakshott believes the library will make a real difference to his pupils.
He said: "The construction of the library cost £72,000 alone, and that figure obviously doesn't include the cost of furnishing it and filling it with books.
"We've begged and borrowed from the local community and they've been great, as have the parents who have donated books.
"Before this, our library was really just a glorified corridor. But now we have a purpose-built facility with room to install computers and space for the children to listen to tapes."
