Brentwood based developer Countryside Properties has become the major sponsor of the town's cycle race.
Confirming the sponsorship of the Brentwood Town Centre Cycle Race, Neil Armstrong, marketing director for susidiary Copthorn Homes, said: "We are always please to become involved in worthy local causes and the Brentwood Town Centre Cycle Race is certainly that.

"The race, which is a major event in the town's calendar will have something for everyone and include the Mayor's Charity Challenge where all proceeds go to the mayor's chosen charities."
The race, organised by the borough council, Glendene Cycling Club and Brentwood Events, takes place on Sunday June 15 and features a variety of races.
There will be an Elite Race for skilled riders along with separate races for boys and girls in separate age ranges.
