A director whose clothing business failed with total debts of around £176,000 has given an undertaking not to hold directorships or take part in company management for six years.
Nicholas Nichols, of Hindles Road, Canvey, was the boss of Fashion Link Logistica, based in Barking, which went into voluntary liquidation in October 2000.
The Insolvency Service ruling prevents Mr Nichols from being a company director or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company.
Matters of conduct, not disputed by Mr Nichols, included failing to ensure Fashion Link Logistica kept adequate records.
Mr Nichols also failed to ensure the company made payments to the Crown totalling £122,036 which included Customs and Excise estimated assessment.
