Mamma mia! Lina Arlenghi may not speak a word of English - but that doesn't stop her enjoying her favourite daily newspaper.
She fell in love with Colchester when visiting son Alberto in Coggeshall
Lina adored our Roman connections and historic walls and castle.
Now Alberto sends his mamma her beloved Evening Gazette so she can keep up to date with all the latest Colchester news and views back home in Italy.
"My mother doesn't speak English so my sister Graziella translates it," explained former restaurant owner Alberto, of Tilkey Road.
"She loves to know what's going on in Colchester."
His family lives in Casale Monferrato - a big city between Turin and Milan.
Lina has just turned 94 but often drops in for lunch there at her favourite restaurant.
