A charity trolley dash has raised more than £1,000.
The event was run by Clacton Lions and about £500 has been donated to the Clacton and District Occupational Workshop Society for its minibus appeal.
A further £500 was given to Tendring Community Transport towards a replacement minibus.
Instead of taking part in a dash, the winner took a cash alternative of £100.
Three other winners received Safeway vouchers of £20 each
