A group of travellers have set up home on Canvey.
The travelling band, made up of around a dozen caravans, continued to arrive at the Smallgains recreation ground, next to Kings Holiday Park, over the weekend.
Castle Point Council is aware of the development and plans to enforce legal action to get the group moved on by this weekend.

Chris Moran, Castle Point's leisure services manager, confirmed wheels were in motion to get the travellers moved off the council-owned ground.
He said: "We are working with Essex County Council's gipsy liaison officer and also the county's legal department.
"We are obtaining a court order this week so we can seek repossession of the land and we are hoping the travellers will have moved on by Saturday."
He added: "We have had several calls from concerned residents and we can assure them we are taking prompt action to move the group on."
