Netball teams fear they may be forced to disband after the cost of hiring a court in Southend nearly tripled.
Saxon netball team was left in "complete shock" when they booked a court at Garon Park and were told instead of paying £11.50 they would have to fork out £32.
Player, Chloe Taylor, 25, said: "There's no way we can afford to pay £32 a week just to train."
