High-flying youngsters will be joined by a prominent MP when they celebrate another successful year.
The third annual Canvey awards evening will soon be taking place and students from all the island's schools will be in attendance.
The awards will be presented by shadow secretary for education Damian Green who has pledged to support and reward "hard work, good discipline and those who aspire to be the best" within education.
Russell Sullivan, headteacher of Castle View School, in Meppel Avenue, believes the evening will be an enormous success.
He said: "This is a night dedicated to the celebration of achievement with all the Canvey schools working in partnership to raise the profile of education on the island."
Headteacher of Winter Gardens Junior School, in Hilton Road, Mark Blant said: "This evening is an opportunity to highlight the good things occurring on Canvey and to show our students can achieve very high standards."
Ken Carter, headteacher of Leigh Beck Infants, in Point Road, added: "It is nice for students to see pupils from other schools and share in their success."
The awards evening will take place on Thursday, June 26, at the Paddocks, in Long Road, starting at 7.30pm.
