Motor racing drivers have put the finishing touches to a pair of paramedic cars to be driven in aid of the Essex air ambulance.

Martin Cookman and Gary Webb, both of Wickford, have been working on the cars for more than a month and will race them at the Festival of Speed at the Arena Essex Raceway, in Thurrock, on Sunday, June 29.
Air ambulance running costs total £65,000 a month.
