Radio hams, would-be-DJs, wannabe broadcasters and sound engineers, your hospital radio needs you!
Hospital Radio Braintree (HBR), which currently broadcasts at the William Julien Courtauld Hospital, has launched an appeal for more volunteers so it can broadcast for longer.
It will also mean there is a team in place when the town's new 48-bed hospital is built.
Currently, the station only broadcasts one evening a week and then reverts to BBC Essex for the rest of the time.
But the service is currently being overhauled and hopes to extend its broadcasts to Broomfield Hospital as an alternative to their service, as well as running more material in Braintree.
In order to do so, they are looking for volunteers to act as presenters, DJs and sound engineers.
The station relies on donations and volunteers to keep running. Training will be provided.
