A south Essex church will echo to the sound of Janey Lee Grace next weekend.
The former singer and TV presenter, who currently presents a popular show on BBC Radio Two, will be appearing at the Emmanuel Church, in Laindon Road, Billericay, on Saturday, June 14.
Janey Lee, who made a name for herself as a backing singer for George Michael, Kim Wilde and Boy George in the late 1980s, had a top ten hit herself in 1992 with Seven Ways To Love.
Following that, she became traffic reporter on Virgin Radio's breakfast show before notching up a number of television credits on Sky One, ITV and music channel VH-1.
A performing arts graduate, Janey Lee will perform a number of her own songs at the Billericay concert.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £6.50 and are available by calling 01277 632120.
