Clearer signs for visitors are needed in Halstead town centre, say traders.
At a meeting of Halstead Town Centre Strategy Group, town centre traders agreed more signposts are needed to point out car parks in the town centre.
Mike Simons, vice-chairman of Halstead Chamber of Trade and Commerce, said: "The town centre car parks could be signposted better.
"You can see people looking for the car parks, which they know are around somewhere but they don't know where."
The town centre strategy panel agreed to look at the issue of signs in the town centre, particularly leading to the town car parks
