Artistic youngsters at Stambridge Primary School have transformed a boring outside wall into a colourful masterpiece.
Gwen Simpson, a member of the Leigh Art Trail, worked with 12 boys and girls this week to paint a mural based on the children's book Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

The project was paid for by money from the National Lottery's Awards for All scheme.
Jenny Haines, deputy head at the school in Stambridge Road, Stambridge, Rochford, said: "The children had a brilliant time.
"We're only a small school of 84 pupils and all the children loved it so much that we're now extending it so every child gets to paint a small part of it."
