Six adventurous explorers got kitted out to climb Mount Everest to mark the 50th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hilary's assent.
The fundraisers spent nearly an hour-and-a-half at the Flagstones store in Southend's Victoria Plaza to ensure they had the right boots, coats and other accessories to complete the challenge.

The team, who will be raising money for Red Cross, spent £1,600 in total, half of which was donated by the outdoor clothing store.
Manager Jason Lockwood said: "It was a bit chaotic and they were trying on various boots and jackets for more than an hour.
"They approached us about it and because it is a good cause it was hard to refuse to help out."
