The event, which will happen each day this week, will involve children taking part in ten different safety scenarios where they will be encouraged to think on their feet.
The special days, which began yesterday, will be run by Canvey police's schools liaison officer PC Jacque Barber and the scenarios will cover a variety of issues.
Activities will include railway safety, electricity safety, road safety, first aid awareness, lorry safety, drugs awareness, anti-bullying awareness, and how to make a 999 call.
PC Barber, who has been the schools liaison officer for three years, said: "This event really opens up children's eyes to different and potentially dangerous circumstances they could face in their daily lives as they get older."
