A young magician had a few tricks up his sleeve when he was invited to perform at Buckingham Palace.
Michael J Fitch, a 24-year-old magician from Marks Tey, gave the performance of his career at the royal children's garden party held by the Queen in the gardens of the palace yesterday, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her coronation.
Magic man - Michael J Fitch entertained the Queen during yesterday's garden party
Mr Fitch received his personal invite just a few days before and was overwhelmed by the occasion.
He said: "It was a really informal event and really exciting. I was so proud to be there, if someone had said to me last year that I would be doing magic for the Queen, I wouldn't have believed them."
And the young magician even got to perform a special trick for the Queen herself.
He said: "I told her thank you for inviting me and then did a really good coin trick for her."
He added: "I have performed for lots of celebrities before but now I've done magic for the Queen I feel like I have really made it."
