David Williams was the star of the show at Little Loveney Hall, Wakes Colne, yesterday.
Williams won three out of three races as Halstead and District Moto-Cross Club hosted the third round of the 2003 Eastern Centre Championships.
In the Eastern Centre Expert Championship, first leg, early race leader Williams, from London, took the win by 20 seconds ahead of local rider Richard Fitch.
In third place was 16-year-old Sydney Bales.
In the second leg, there was a comfortable win for Williams.
Fitch was second again with Paul Bennett in third place, after taking fourth in the first leg.
In the Expert Non-Championship, there was yet another win for Williams, with Stean Jolly in second and Bales settling for third.
In the Eastern Centre Junior Championship, first leg, Cain Firth, the series points leader going to this meeting, was first with Jamie French from Great Yarmouth second.
In third place was Chelmsford Club rider Chris Thorpe. In the second leg, Firth and French took first and second places again, with Frazer Swanson in third place.
In the 125cc Championship, first leg, Fitch was first, second was Bales and third place went to Rob Mills.
The top junior was Craig Arthurton.
In the second leg, Bales just pipped Fitch on the finish line, Mills was in third spot again, with Arthurton coming in as top junior once more.
