Detectives were today investigating a robbery in which a woman had a knife held to her throat while thieves raided her home.
The incident took place at a block of flats in Godman Road, Chadwell St Mary.
Four men wearing baseball caps burst into the flat and took a sum of money and DVD player.
The men are described as white, in their 20s, wearing jeans and a variety of coloured tops.
