Youngsters in Braintree have been getting ready for the town's carnival.
Since Tuesday they have been encouraged to make their own costumes to take part in the event.

Braintree Council and Braintree District Museum Trust teamed up to run a special carnival costume workshop during half-term week.
The children, aged eight and upwards, were working with experienced London-based carnival artist Chris Graham.
Braintree Carnival takes place on Saturday, June 7.
