Halstead racing duo Jamie and Jon Perry are all set for this week's round of the MG Owners Club Championship at Snetterton.

So far current Maestro champion Jamie is powering his way forward in the championship, but Jon is warning his older brother it's 'game on' if the weather stays dry.

Jon feels he is on his brother's tail and that his different driving style will soon see him passing him.

The only stumbling block in what has been a consistent season for Jon is his performances in the rain.

"I had an accident about four years ago in the wet and it's taken me a while to get the confidence to brake later in those conditions.

"At Oulton Park I finished quite high up the order in the wet, but I wasn't happy with my performance. I don't feel I had earnt it.

"While at Brands Hatch I felt that was the best I had ever driven in the rain and I spun off.

"Things are going well and the only people on the grid that I haven't been able to pass so far are my brother and the guy who is in second place in the championship, Andy Campbell."
