A first win to help them climb of the foot of the early-season Premier Division table is Hadleigh and Thundersley's aim going into their Essex League clash with next-to-bottom Wanstead tomorrow.
"We must make home advantage count," said press officer Jon Wagstaff.
"Wanstead are only just above us at the bottom, but if we win we could move into mid-table -- depending on other results.
"If we bat first a target of anything over 200 should put us in a winning position.
"And it would be great to get that first win under our belt. We know it's a tough league and we could get sucked into a relegation battle -- but we have the quality and strength in depth to stay above it."
After two impressive performances, second XI opener Adam Fleming keeps his place in an unchanged side, while Chiraq Desai (shoulder) is the only doubt but has provisionally been included.
