Murdered widow Jean Dicker is to be buried next week more than four months after she was killed.
The service will take place at Clacton Cemetery chapel next Thursday followed by a burial.
Mrs Dicker, 58, was discovered in the hallway of her Great Clacton bungalow by her son, Steve, on January 29.
A post mortem examination revealed she died from head injuries.
Four months on, police are no closer to catching her killer.
An Essex Police spokesman said the investigation into Mrs Dicker's death was continuing.
Mrs Dicker, a former Colchester traffic warden, moved into the bungalow in Craigfield Avenue two years ago.
Her body was found by Steve Dicker when he returned home just before 11.30pm. There were no signs of a break-in or forced entry.
A number of items, including an old-style large black Philips mobile phone and her handbag, are still missing from the bungalow.
