Hundreds of children have been pouring through the doors of a library to try their hand at a variety of art and craft activities.

Fryerns Library, in Whitmore Way, Basildon, played host to more than 500 children aged from three to 14 yesterday.
The talented youngsters took on painting, sculpture and a collage project with a fish theme.
The children's imaginative artwork will be kept on display in the busy library for visitors to admire until the end of June.
