Pop heart-throb Duncan from boy band Blue dropped by a Southend showroom to collect a rare Volkswagen car.

Crowds of excited youngsters watched as the singer, whose band has had hits with songs such as All Rise and One Love, picked up the £25,000 car from the Lindvale VW showroom in Comet Way, Southend.
Manager Simon Kempton said: "He had taken a liking to the model and so phoned the manufacturers who told him we had one in stock. His mum dropped him off at the showroom."
