A sensory garden and playground has been unveiled after four years of fundraising.
Stepping Stones Play and Learn Group in Colchester raised £50,000 through grants and events to fund the project, including £24,000 from Barclays Bank.
The playground and sensory garden are available for all children, both able and disabled, and their families.
Carol Nice, nursery co-ordinator at Stepping Stones, based at the Wilson Marriage Centre, said: "The garden will stimulate our children's senses to develop their skills and parents will be able to use the garden as a family activity."
