An air ambulance paramedic from Stebbing has again been to the aid of India's many street children.
Valerie Mulcare-Tivey has returned from another trip to the poverty-ridden slums of Bombay to tackle the various illnesses, including scabies, gangrene, leprosy and AIDS, affecting the youngsters.
Her experience as a paramedic and advanced first aid instructor is invaluable when helping the street children.
Joining her on this latest visit was Katie Kinniburgh and Joanne Morton, childcare students at Braintree college.
The two 18-year-olds brought more than 50 pairs of flip-flops with them to give out to the various street children who needed them.
