A gang of youths romped through Southend attacking children and young men.
A 13-year-old boy was punched in the face and had his wallet stolen and a 17-year-old boy had to be taken to hospital with head injuries following a separate incident.
Five assaults and robberies took place between 11.30pm last night and 12.40am this morning.
A 32-year-old man was one of the unlucky victims, ending up with a cut lip.
The attacks took place in Oakhurst Road, Ruskin Avenue, Victoria Road and Bournemouth Park Road, in Southend and The Mallards, Shoebury.
Three, possibly four men, were involved.
They were all white and in their 20s and one is thought to have had a skinhead.
