Tottenham soccer boss Glenn Hoddle will tackle LTA performance director David Felgate in a celebrity tennis match to mark the official opening of the Deanes Indoor Tennis Centre next month.
Former England coach Hoddle and Felgate, former coach to British No1 Tim Henman, will serve up the spectacle on June 20, with special guests including West Ham hero Trevor Brooking, World Cup winner Geoff Hurst and Sue Cambpbell looking on.
Felgate welcomed the new Benfleet centre and said: "We have long hidden behind the excuse of not enough facilities in Britain.
"We can no longer say so and the Deanes Indoor Centre is a great example of the way forward for British tennis."
