Witnesses have been urged to come forward after shoplifters stole £340 of food in two separate thefts.
On April 4, a man walked out of Tesco Express, Southchurch Road, Southend, without paying for nearly £40 of bacon.
In the second theft, a woman filled up her trolley with £300 of food in Safeway, Western Approaches, Eastwood, and left without paying on March 15.
