Staff at South East Essex College in Southend today urged students to take care if travelling abroad during the summer holidays.

A Foreign Office report has revealed alarming statistics about the number of 16-30-year-olds getting into trouble because of bad planning and carelessness.

The problems range from becoming victims of crime and illness to getting arrested or even killed.

The college warned students to take extra care.
