A talented south Essex woman was today on tenterhooks as she waited to discover if she was one of the "inmates" of the latest Big Brother house.
Singer Lou Baker was locked away at a secret location after making the final shortlist for tonight's launch of the fourth series of the reality show.
Lou, 26, from South Woodham Ferrers, won't find out until the last minute if she will be one of the final 12 contestants for the nine-week long series which has top prize of £70,000.
Her dad George said: "They haven't confirmed her. She has been under strict rules - she wouldn't even be able to tell me because she is sworn to secrecy."
Backing singer Lou recently wowed audiences in a local talent contest - The Quest for a Star.
