Beaming Bill Raymond is smiling back at customers in every UK post office, thanks an advertising campaign that has burst him onto the nationwide stage.
Bill's face appears on a poster and on the front of a free newspaper in the latest campaign highlighting Post Office services.
Extra, extra! - Bill Raymond is the face of a new post office advertising campaign Picture: MIKE MINERS
The picture is one of the latest media bookings landed by the film and television extra from Stromness Road, Southend.
Another recent part demanded he act as a nude body double for rocker Rod Stewart.
Bill said: "I got £700 for the Post Office picture and I got £300 for the Rod Stewart job.
"It was for the TV series Double Take and all I had to do was just show me arse to the camera - which I didn't mind."
The poster and newspaper can been seen at all Post Office counters.
He is portrayed as a pensioner celebrating how easy it is to pick up a pension at the counter.
And his showbiz CV keeps growing. Recent appearances include being a Millwall FC executive in Dream Team and a part in Channel 5 soap opera Family Affairs.
