Tim Burgess is to play an exclusive solo show at the V Festival this year.
He has been added to the line up along with Kosheen and Killing Joke.
Bob Angus, Festival Director, said: "V Festival is the first and only show Tim has booked this year, and it's being used as a showcase for his solo material. We are really looking forward to it."
Simon Moran, Festival director for the Weston Park site, commented: "We suggest anyone wanting to attend should hurry and buy tickets now before it's too late!"
Burgess, lead singer of legendary indie band The Charlatans, is joining the line up at V on the 2nd stage. The Charlatans have produced albums such as "Up to Our Hips," "Tellin' Stories" and "Us and Us Only."
Kosheen will be playing V Festival 2003 on the V stage. Having formed in the nineties, their debut album "Resist," was released to critical acclaim, winning them Best Remix at the Muzik awards and Record of the year at Dancestar in Miami.
Their second album, "Kokopelli," has just been released, and appears darker and harder than the last. They are playing in the JJB/Puma Arena.
Killing Joke are releasing their first album in nine years this July. Called "Loose Canon." it is eagerly anticipated by all, not least because a certain Mr Grohl of the Foo Fighters has now joined the band on drums. They will play the 2nd stage alongside the likes of SFA, Athlete and Feeder.
