The line up for V2003 has received another boost with PJ Harvey the latest act to confirm attendance.
PJ Harvey and her band will be supporting two of the biggest names in live music - Coldplay and The Red Hot Chili Peppers - who both announced two weeks ago that they will headline the V Festival.
The festival is once again taking place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford as well as Weston Park, Staffordshire on 16th and 17th August 2003.
V Festival Director Bob Angus said: "We are thrilled that PJ Harvey is the latest addition to this years line up. The 8th year of the V Festival looks like it is going to be one of our strongest yet.
"She is one of the best British singer/song-writer/musicians around. This is going to be one summer music lovers won't be able to forget".
V Festival Director Simon Moran added that the organisers were very happy to secure another massive indie act.
He said: "We are thrilled PJ Harvey is joining us for the first time. And the line up is going to get even bigger and better."
Tickets will be on sale from Saturday 8th March.
