Northlands Park continues to produce excellent hauls of bream and tench with several 50lb-plus bags for quivertip anglers.
Quivertip angler Bill Chaplin took two big hauls by netting 50lb-plus catches on consecutive trips.
Chaplin fished the middle spitway where his first trip produced two big crucians amongst his haul of bream and tench.
The following trip he added a further 60lb of quality bream. Chaplin fished both luncheon meat and trout pellet baits.
Waggler anglers have also been getting their share, with Alec Busby netting a 30lb-plus haul from the cafe lake. Busby fished a waggler and pellet baits to take bream, skimmers and tench.
He also lost a big carp which travelled to the other side of the lake before breaking his hooklength. Northlands Park regular Paul Wagg makes a habit of taking big bags of quality bream from the water.
