A large crowd were treated to an excellent day's racing at Braintree Motorcycle Club's Motocross on Sunday.
A brief shower during practice made the track - at Hatches Farm, Stisted, near Braintree - very slippery.
But it soon dried out to provide ideal conditions for some very close racing.

Gary Melton came home first in the 251-750cc Solo Championship race.
He defeated Jason Morland and Clint Wright, who finished second and third respectively.
In the NGR qualifying races, Chris Keeble and Matt Dye took the honours.
Keeble won race A, coming in ahead of Adrian Salmon and Darcy Roberts, while Dye beat Lee Keyton and Paul Cocksedge.
Dye had another brace of wins in the over-25 championship.
He won both legs of the race, beating Keyton and Salmon on each occasion.
Paul Clark won both Twin Shock Solos races, with Chris Nunn picking up two second places.
Tony Suskins and David Tye achieved two wins in the Sidecar championship races.
