Celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson is to appear at the Ground-breakers Big Day Out at Writtle College on July 5.
Following his appearance at last year's launch of the event, Antony, one of the stars of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! will provide a series of cookery demonstrations designed to promote healthy eating.
Antony is passionate about organic farming and it is hoped that his demonstrations at Ground-breakers, using fresh British produce, will encourage visitors to think more about how food is produced and the benefits of using fresh produce.
Antony studied hotel and catering management at Westminster College and worked in several London restaurants, including the Princess of Wales' favourite - Menage a Trois, in Knightsbridge - before hitting the media spotlight.
In 1988, he became resident studio chef for BBC2's Food and Drink programme and, since then, has appeared in various television programmes including Ready Steady Cook, GMTV and This Morning.
