Walton's self-appointed dustmen are on the move again.
Recently town councillor, John Halls and farmer David Eagle took it into their own hands to clear up one black spot a rubbish-filled private roadway behind Alfred Terrace.
Now Mr Halls, a leading member of the town regeneration group, has set about another eyesore, Foundry Yard in Hall Lane.
One resident described it as "an absolute rubbish tip" at a meeting of Frinton and Walton Town Council last night.
Mr Halls said the district council's environment department had been to visit the site.
Piles of eyesore tyres and abandoned cars were due to be collected by next month.
A gate had been made and was due to be put up to prevent further fly tipping.
