Billericay Town have had a boost with the news that physio Dave Lawson is sticking with the club.
Lawson -- hugely respected in the non-league game -- arrived at New Lodge with former manager Gary Calder four years ago.
But fears that he may quit the Ryman Premier club following Calder's resignation at the weekend have proved groundless.
"Dave has made it plain that he intends to continue as physio at Billericay Town and he will be part of the package whoever takes over as manager," said club chairman Rod Moore.
Lawson left for The Gambia today with the world-famous Middlesex Wander-ers team, who are on a week-long tour of the African country.
