Community campaigners have delivered more than 4,000 leaflets to residents on two Basildon estates challenging them to help crack crime.
The Basildon District Community Safety Partnership is made up of representatives from various organisations such as the police, fire service and Basildon Council.
A handful of the partnership's members took to the streets to give Felmores and Northlands residents crime fighting information and invite them to a two-day event which kicked off today.
The Felmores and Northlands Path to Success event is being held at Briscoe Junior School, Felmores End, Pitsea, from noon to 6pm today and 10am to 6pm tomorrow.
