Southend Swifts have a treble chance for glory this weekend when their three girls basketball teams take part in the RAF-sponsored Final Fours at Cosford in Shropshire.
This major event has been running for the past four years at both under-18 (juniors) and under-16 (cadet) level, but this season also includes the finale to the under-14 event for the first time.
Swifts showed their strength in depth by getting all three teams through to the finals, the only club that has achieved this feat.
No fewer than 34 of the Swifts players will take part, giving all of them the opportunity of competing at this highest domestic level.
The cadets will lead off tomorrow when they take on Stockport Lapwings at 11 am. If they are successful, they will meet the winners of the Doncaster v Haringey match in the final at 3 pm.
On Sunday it is the turn of the juniors. They meet reigning champions Elles-mere Port at 11 am with the victors taking on either Northampton or Solent.
Finally on Monday the under-14's have a morning start against Manchester, with a potential final against either Ellesmere Port or Haringey.
