Police are hunting a driver who left the scene after a car flipped over on a roundabout.
The crash was reported at about 8.30pm yesterday in Brinkley Lane in the High Woods area of Colchester.
A witness saw the Ford Orion on its roof with smoke coming from it and called the police.

An ambulance was sent out but the driver, who is not believed to have been injured, ran off.
A search had so far not traced the man.
