Billericay and Brentwood's radio station will see DJs going head-to-head in a battle of the turn tables.
The event will take place in Billericay High Street on May 10 as Bully and Notty clash in their differing music tastes.
Darren Bull (Bully's Boogie Box) and Richard Nott (Stuck in the 80s) will now perform to the public to see which music is preferred by their listeners. At the same time they will be raising funds for the Endeavour School for Special Needs Children in Brentwood.
Bully, who has been with the radio station for five years said: "This is personal, Notty walks in to the station with his 80s cheesy tunes and thinks he's something special. I've seen him presenting his show with his wedge hair cut and shoulder pads - it's pathetic!"
Notty added: "Does anyone really like flares? We'll see who's hipper than hip when it's my choice of tunes that get the ladies moving, grooving and strutting their funky stuff. "
This competition will be in addition to a great night's entertainment at the Red Lion, Billericay High Street, on Saturday at 7.30pm. A £2 donation will be required.
